Coefficient of moisture expansion

Plastics and CFRP absorb moisture over time. Depending on its moisture content weight and strain changes.
To measure the influence of the moisture content, we saturate material samples and dehumidify them in a controlled manner in a vacuum chamber. Simultaneously we measure mass and dimensional changes.
As with our CTE setups, changes in length are measured without contact.
