Thermal Vacuum Test Chamber SESiLOX

The TV chamber SESiLOX serves for thermal vacuum tests and calibrations of optical and electronical hardware assemblies in an ISO 8 environment.

The TV chamber has an integrated optical bench for test purposes as well as one large optical bench and diverse ESD work tables. The laboratory can be completely darkened, to exclude scattered light for optical measurements. For performances of laser tests in the TV chamber a wall breakthrough to the optical measurement setups in the AIV/Laser Laboratory in the adjoining room is available.

Oil and vibration-free turbo and forepumps achieve 1E-6 mbar. A temperature range between -196°C and +100°C is achieved with a nitrogen gas mix system and is continuisly.
