All satellite components need be examined in thermal vacuum chamber under the conditions found in the space. BEAMIDE offers the possibility to carry out experiments required for satellite components under the extreme conditions. Thermal chamber can provide the desired temperature while HiCube vacuum pump system reduces the pressure identical to space conditions. Two vacuum systems are currently available for experiments: rectangular and cylindrical. The BINDER MKFT 20 is the thermal chamber available at BEAMIDE for space simulations. Temperature ranges from -70°C to 180°C, adjustable for providing the cycles, and its time can be varied for thermal and vacuum testing.
