INTA has more than 50 years of experience in performing antenna and radar signature testing for civilian, aeronautical, military and space projects.

Among others, INTA RF Area has the capability to perform the following tests:

  • Measurements of the characteristic parameters of the antennas: radiation patterns, gain, directivity, standing wave ratio, etc.
  • Measurement of high and low gain antennas, individually or installed in large structures, as well as the validation of the radioelectric behavior of antennas .mounted in real-size or scale models.
  • Measurement of the dispersion parameters of passive and active microwave devices.
  • Calibration of Antenna Factor.
  • E.I.R.P (Effective Isotropic Radiated Power) Measurement.
  • Measurement of the effect of radomes and coatings in radiation or scattering diagrams.
  • Radar Cross Section Measurement (RCS) of targets, measurement of electromagnetic absorption of materials, ISAR imaging of targets.
