Mechanical Shock Test / Crash Test

We operate a controlled sled system for shock / crash testing of batteries and other components

Our crash test equipment is suitable for non-destructive testing of batteries at speeds of up to 80 km/h. Within the scope of these tests, the batteries are exposed to defined crash pulses or loads as required by the relevant standard, e.g. ECE-R 100 or classical shocks like 60g/45ms, 90g/20ms or 150g/15ms. For this purpose, the battery is fastened to a sled, which generates the required shock during deceleration including elements of deformation.
Beside batteries we are performing crash tests on other components e.g. seats, belts, doors, ...
