Spacelab belongs to the Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF) in Kiruna and provides the adequate facilities to test your hardware against the harsh environmental conditions of the outer space.
The history of IRF includes both ground-based and spacecraft systems which can in turn benefit your own system development. This history started with the ESRO satellite up to now taking an active part in the development of the ESA’s L-class mission JUICE.
The capabilities of Spacelab therefore include development, integration and testing of space systems and components.
